Our History

Trucap was founded by Reginald Nkabinde in 2016. It was formed to help ordinary home owners reduce their monthly electricity costs. At the time  South Africa was having a load shedding crisis.


Trucap started  home distributing and installing geyser blankets to small home owners and Bed & Breakfast operators. From that point we were able to really see how much the energy crisis in South Africa was affecting ordinary citizens so we decided to venture into the solar industry to help our clients' homes be more energy efficient.

There are many global changes taking place with regards to climate change and energy. Ours is to assist our clients make the best decision with what they have to be energy efficient and reduce the carbon emissions.
